High Planes 1/72 Me 262 V-1

Here's a little dandy I'm about to start on for another Forum, so I'd be pleased if you all took any interest here.
Despite the warning on the box, I'm going in...
I had wanted this model for a while, and on eBay when they show up they cost a lot. So on a whim I search for HP models, lo and behold after some great customer service from Ritchie it was smokin' in my hands!

Hey fellas. I can't tell if I'm accepted on the list, but here goes:

I've snipped, cleaned and started to assemble the V1. It will be a quick build, and everything fits together really nicely, because you sand it all to size.

Lovely.

Very cool.  I can't recall seeing one of these built before.  Aircraft or kit manufacturer.

The Me 262 V-1 prototype.

The High Planes kit in 1/72, a little gem.

It was the Junkers 210. 12 cylinder V. The kit also comes with a separate wing to build the later V-1 and the V-2, which added the two BMW 003 turbojets. That would be a cool deal- all three powerplants.
This a/c also had an ejection seat, unlike the production versions. I suppose power failure at takeoff was a constant fear.
